Lake Como in Italy is taken from a photograph handed to me by a friend, she asked if I would like to use it for a painting.......Of course I said Yes !!!! I Love painting Mountains, Skies & Water............Lake Como is a lake of glacial origin in Lombardy, Italy. It has an area of 146 km, making it the third largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore.

Hi my name is Jean; I am a self-taught artist who works from my studio at home, in oil paint on canvas, My main subjects being Landscapes and Seascapes. I have recently undertaken portraiture, of which I am thoroughly enjoying and a new and challenging area for myself.
